I did a IMEI repair with my Octopus box on my LG G3 D852 well every thing seems to of went smooth the IMEI was changed so then I decides to carrier unlock it so I did that and it all seemed to go well but when I went to put my sim in it didn't work it said no service and when I checked 2945#*852# every spot out of the 5 available says THIS PHONE IS PERMANENTLY LOCKED AND CAN NOT BE UNLOCKED. Hi, You can unlock the phone which is permanently locked by two ways. You can switch OFF the phone and turn ON the phone using a Key combination which makes the phone to boot into the recovery menu if the phone has one. There you can navigate the recovery menu using the Volume keys and with the help of 'Power Keys' you will be able to select an option as 'Format data wipe' which deletes everything in your and makes the settings to Factory defaults so that the phone will be unlocked and can be used.
