Guys, i bought a 'Phonebook Sim' a week ago, from the advice of someone on the forums. They told me it would activate my 3gs on baseband 05.12.02, running firmware 4.1, with new bootrom. Anyways, it didnt activate the phone.:-( so i ebay'd a used At&T sim, got it for 3 or 4 bucks, and i recieved it this morning, and it worked like a charm, got the phone activated, finally. Now all i gotta do is wait for a (Untethered) jailbreak and a way to unlock carriers.
OS: I think it's 3.1.3. IPhone stuck in emergency mode. Only the carriers that an iphone is locked to can officially unlock it.
